New Rule in Pakistan for your reference
Please be advised that Pakistan Customs is now enforcing an existing requirement regarding provisions for a packing list and invoice for imported cargo.

All import cargo entered into the Pakistan's Customs are for clearance shall be accompanied with a copy of Invoice & Packing List in following manner:

FCL Shipments:
The documents shall be placed on the inner side of the door of container. In case of multiple containers in a shipment, each container shall have such document pertaining to the goods inside.

LCL Shipment:
The documents shall be attached to the goods or package at an obvious place.

Consolidated Container:
The documents shall be attached to the goods or package at an obvious place of each shipment. Such container shall also have a consolidated Packing List pertaining to goods inside on the inner side of the door of container.

Break bulk:
The carrier upon entry in Custom area will furnish the documents to Pakistan Customs.

Please immediately pass this information Globally to pass this information to all customers.

In case of LCL shipments moving out from EI warehouse of EIO Consolidated FCL, Expeditors offices must make sure that:
  • Invoice & Packing list placed over package of LCL shipment
  • Invoice & Packing list placed over package on each shipment of consolidated box.
  • Consolidated Packing List must be placed on the inner side of the door of consolidated box.
